Burton recognized by Los Angeles Business Journal for his impact on multifamily real estate across the Western U.S.
Cityview CEO Sean Burton was recently named one of the most influential people in Los Angeles for the fifth consecutive year by Los Angeles Business Journal. Burton was recognized on the publication’s “LA 500” list for his influence in helping to shape the Western U.S. multifamily real estate landscape, as well as his impact in the civic arena.
Burton was recognized for his leadership of Cityview, a vertically integrated real estate firm that specializes in developing, acquiring and operating multifamily projects in gateway markets across the Western U.S., and has invested in more than 130 projects to date. Cityview was also named the decade’s most active multifamily developer in LA by Los Angeles Business Journal earlier this year.
In his civic capacity, Burton served for eight years as the President of the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners overseeing LAX and Van Nuys airports. He was then appointed by President Biden and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the federal nominee on the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors, which oversees Washington Dulles and Reagan National airports. He also serves as co-chair of the Los Angeles Coalition, a coalition of business leaders for the economy and jobs in LA.
