Apollo, a new 265-unit multifamily development, is making a statement in Los Angeles’ South Bay. In addition to premium finishes and an extensive amenity package in a prime location, the eight-story development features a large-format digital display on the side of the building featuring a mix of advertising and community programming.
“Apollo’s digital display is designed to be a welcoming landmark that provides a visible platform for public, civic, and community messaging,” says Sean Burton, CEO of Cityview, which developed the project with Stockbridge. “The display also generates revenue for both the city and the property through a profit-sharing structure that was established as part of the original project approval.”
The development began lease-up at the start of the year, offering a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom floor plans with in-unit washers and dryers, luxury vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, designer countertops, and smart-home systems. Turnkey high-speed internet and Wi-Fi create connectivity throughout the community.
The amenity package is designed to elevate residents’ living experience with an emphasis on connection, relaxation, and convenience. Features include a resort-style pool and spa terrace, an al fresco dining area with an outdoor kitchen, an outdoor game deck, an indoor sports simulator with a virtual golf range, a state-of-the-art fitness center that connects to an outdoor training deck, and the CV Works coworking space with high-speed Wi-Fi and tech-enabled working areas.
The development is located on Crenshaw Boulevard in Gardena near major aerospace, automotive, and tech employers, such as SpaceX, Tesla Design Center, and Ring; it also provides easy access to the 405, 105, and 91 freeways.
“We’re thrilled to bring 265 units of housing to the South Bay, one of Los Angeles’ fastest-growing and most vibrant areas,” adds Burton. “Conveniently located near ample career opportunities, world-class entertainment designations, and some of Los Angeles’ most popular beaches, Apollo combines the innovative spirt of the South Bay with the relaxed comfort of Southern California living.”
Partners on the development include Westport Construction, AC Martin, Nadia Geller Designs, and MJS Landscape Architecture.
